Excellent boutique hotel with a cozy atmosphere

I absolutely loved my stay! The hotel's atmosphere was charming, with a cozy lobby area that made it easy to relax and unwind after exploring the city. The complimentary happy hour with wine and small bites was a delightful touch, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. However, I did wish for more frequent room cleaning options to keep the space feeling fresh.

We enjoyed exploring Tribeca with the bikes available for loan, making our family trip even more memorable. The modern vibe of the hotel and the comfortable beds made our stay great. The location was perfect, close to many attractions and a subway station.

In my wife’s opinion, a children’s play area would have made our stay even better.

Lets be honest this place is decent enough. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, from day one they're all super friendly, made us feel welcome right away.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but you pay for what you get and still got good value.

My stay at Sonder was excellent. The location in Tribeca is ideal for business, providing easy access to key locations. The room was modern and impressively clean, featuring a comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, and a well-maintained bathroom. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist in any way. I appreciated the convenient check-in process and the welcoming atmosphere.

The room was really well-designed—such a comfy bed! The shower was a highlight. that waterfall feature after a long day was perfect. Plus, having a mini fridge was great for our snacks and drinks. Didn't mind that there wasn’t daily cleaning since we were out all day. The Wi-Fi was fast too, which is always a plus. Just a solid space for a NYC stay!

The Duane Street Hotel has a lovely atmosphere with welcoming staff and comfortable rooms, though they can be a bit cramped. Enjoyed the complimentary drinks in the lobby, but the shower setup needs improvement and check-in was confusing without a confirmation code.

The queen room was really comfy with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a microwave. The private bathroom had a fabulous waterfall shower, and there were clean towels delivered daily. Loved the coffee machine for that morning brew! Super close to subway options, too. Plus, happy hour with free wine was a nice touch!

Wonderful environment with thoughtful touches.

I loved the complimentary wine and cheese evenings and the cozy bathroom layout. The sound machine was a lifesaver for my sleep issues. I’d definitely come back!

Cozy stays but some issues

The room was comfy with a nice mini fridge and plenty of towels. I loved the filtered water station in the lobby. However, the walls were super thin. I could hear everything next door! And the heater was so loud at night that it kept us up. Not ideal when you're paying good money.
